I survived and even enjoyed my first day at my new job! I have to say going to work is a lot easier than taking care of two little girls......my mom seemed pretty exhausted when I went to pick them up at 3! My little Abbie is quite a handful and it was actually nice to hear mom say so. I have spent the last six months with her and Liv each and everyday and man she's a lot of work. She doesn't like the swing, jumperoo, exersaucer....she actually doesn't like anything but being held and played with alllllllllllll day. I think it will be good for her to be with someone who might actually not run to her everytime she cries (although it would kill me a little if i saw it) what I don't know can't hurt me, right??? That might sound crazy, but I have never been one to believe that a child should be played with and held all day...if they are, how do they learn to play by themselves??
Today was a great day and I"m excited to do it again tomorrow...
I also got to thinking on my way home that I am lucky....I might be away from my girls for a few years while they are really little, but I will get to enjoy them while I am working when they get to school age........not too many mothers get to do that!!!
Well, I think my words are starting to not make sense....getting up at 4:30 is a change for me!!!!
