Two night ago Abbie was up the night for a couple of hours. She felt a little warm, but went back to sleep after I rocked her for a bit. The next day she was a little fussy, but I just thought she was getting teeth. An ear infection crossed my mind, but I thought for sure she would cry when she was laying down if that was the case. Well last night she slept from 10:00-11:00 and that was it! She was up for the rest of the night SCREAMING. Poor baby...I should have trusted my instincts and taken her in yesterday....matt took her to the er this morning and one look in both of her ears showed they were a mess. She took one dose of her meds this morning and she is sleeping right now....trying to catch up on all of the sleep she missed last night. Poor thing....I was so mad at myself last night for not taking her in earlier in the day...next time I will know that I am right and just take her in before she has to go through a night like that!
It is amazing how rested I feel even though I slept a total of one hour last night...Liv and I went to lunch today and had the Pizza Hut salad bar. She was a little angel..it was so nice to spend some time alone with her after caring for sick Abbie for the past two days. Then we went to Walmart (which was packed with super bowl shoppers) and now we are home.
Later tonight we are going to Nama Dale's and Grandpa P's for hot dogs and beans...our favorites!!!!!!!
Keep your fingers crossed we get some rest tonight!
